What’s it like?
Hello everyone! I thought I would write about what it’s like seeing your first story released! Well, I have to tell you it’s nerve wracking and exciting. I’m still on a natural high right now. My story is still in the number three slot on BookStrand’s best seller list! http://www.bookstrand.com/
Then I wonder how long can it last? Can the story itself keep selling like it has been for the past few days?
Of course we can’t forget about the reviews! Will the reviewers like the story? Did we miss something big in the plot line? Are there grammar issues? All these things run across my mind! It was funny when I opened the review at work. I was reading it and started crying! I was so happy! Needless to say, I’m glad no one came in to check in to the hotel I work for! They would have seen the puffy eyes and running mascara.
A little about my fans follows!!! I received two great emails about my story. I’ve saved both of them and will print them out for my scrapbook! There is nothing like getting your first fan letter; it’s what makes the whole writing process easier–at least for me! That includes the dreaded edits!
